RULES OF THE BUSINESS IDEA CONTEST FOR THE FASHION INDUSTRY

Go ahead and participate in the 080 Barcelona Fashion’s First Business Ideas Contest!
1. OBJECTIVES
080 Barcelona Fashion and Seed & Click collaborate to organize the First Edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion Ideas Contest, a business ideas competition in the fashion industry.
The main objectives of this contest are: to encourage, support and promote entrepreneurial initiatives in the fashion industry.
2. MODALITY
Business Ideas Contest: Entrepreneurs over the age of eighteen and of all nationalities having a business idea related to or applicable to the fashion industry; the business idea has to clearly define a need or opportunity from which the project design can be started. The business idea does not require already initiated/ongoing operations.
3. PARTICIPANTS
Business ideas may be individuals or groups. The presentation of the idea or project will be virtually through a Crowdfunding platform. The winner will present his idea within the 080 Barcelona Fashion Fall-Winter 2016/17. If the winner team consists of more than two members, the team itself will appoint one or two representatives to present.

6. STEPS
6.1. Create a video of your business idea
Create an innovative video in elevator pitch format, which explains your business idea. We recommend that the duration of the video should not last more than 2 minutes since it will be easier to share it and a condensed content can have a greater impact.
The term elevator pitch refers to the ability to present an idea in a limited amount of time, while the presented information focuses on the most relevant and interesting points.
6.2. Launch your Crowdfunding campaign!
From 16/11/2015 until the end of the campaign: 15/01/2016
Starting November 16th, you can create your crowdfunding campaign on Seed & Click`s platform: share it in social medias with the hashtag #080BFIC16.
The aim is to raise the maximum amount in a limited time period: beginning 11/16/2015 and ending 01/15/2016.
Rules & Requirements for submissions of information on the platform:
To raise contributions, you have to create a Paypal account. All gains of your campaign will be used for development of your idea (net management fees of Paypal and Seed & Click, about 7%, subject to conditions existing platforms).
6.3. PRIZE
On January 15th, 2016 the three business ideas that have raised the largest amount through their Crowdfunding campaign will be selected to be further evaluated by the jury.
The idea with the highest score given by the jury, according to the criteria set out in Paragraph 5, will have the opportunity to present their business idea during editing Fall – Winter 2016/17 of 080 Barcelona Fashion, which takes place from the 1st to 5th of February 2016 and will be pre-selected to participate in the 080 Investor Day in June / July 2016 under the 080 Barcelona Fashion Spring-Summer 2017.
